Principal’s Message

Dear Students,

It is a matter of proud privilege for us that you have chosen Govt. Brijindra College, Faridkot to fulfill your dreams of golden future. Your choice is definitely commendable as the college has engraved its place amongst the pioneer educational institutes of North India with its multifaceted achievements. UGC’s NAAC, Bangalore has re-accredited the college with ‘A’ grade for the second consecutive time. On the occasion of Platinum Jubilee year I would like to extend my heartfelt congratulations to all of you.

In the present era of science and technology we have to equip ourselves to fulfill the needs and demands of this commercial world on one hand and at the same time we have to preserve our Indian Culture, Human Values and Moral Ethics. This is the biggest challenge that the contemporary world poses before all of us. The college has a glorious past of producing world renowned Technology Experts, Doctors, IAS Officers, Scientists in the field of Agriculture and at the same time the college has a sacred mission of inculcating the principle of Shri Guru Granth Sahib “Vidiya Vichari Tan Parupkari” (Education leads to the path of selflessness).

Here at Govt. Brijindra College, we pledge to give a new shape to the talent and skill hidden in students so that they can serve our motherland in a better way. This is a matter of honor that the college has been awarded Best College in the field of NSS by Punjabi University Patiala for the 3rd consecutive time.

Well furnished infrastructure, able faculty and discipline form the foundation stone of any educational institute. Indiscipline is the biggest hurdle in the way of achieving desired goals and targets. Self discipline is the steering force that guides us towards the desired goal.

We strongly believe that you will prove to be self disciplined students moving in the direction of golden future. Able administration, versatile teaching faculty and inquisitive students bring laurels to the institute. I would like to extend my best wishes to all:

It is not in the stars to hold

Our destiny but in ourselves
